American Traveler is hiring an Ambulatory Oncology Clinical RN Coordinator requiring 3-4 years of recent oncology experience and OR/WA RN licensure.

- Ambulatory Oncology Radiation Clinics setting within a hospital-affiliated clinic
- Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Variable work schedule and variable work location
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team including Pediatric Hematology Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Hematologic Malignancies, Gynecology Oncology, Infusion services, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Social Work, and Case Management
- Serves adult and pediatric patient populations with hematologic malignancies (Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Transplant, CAR-T, TIL, DLI), medical oncology diagnoses (Sarcoma, Head and Neck, Breast, Lung, GI/GU, Prostate, CNS), and non-oncology diagnoses requiring radiation treatment
- Epic EMR experience required
- Floating to hospital units or nearby affiliate hospitals may be required per unit needs
- Active OR and WA RN licenses required
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- 3-4 years of recent oncology experience required
- 1 year of recent ambulatory care coordination experience required
- Current OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification or completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education contact hours per accreditation cycle required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Must be able to use medical and non-medical unit equipment to perform essential job functions
- COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted
- Provide oncology clinical care coordination within a multidisciplinary radiation oncology clinic setting
- Work environment includes multi-tasking, multiple interruptions, and exposure to noise, human tissues/fluids, hazardous medications, and radiation
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate with no mileage radius restriction
- Floating to affiliate hospitals nearby may be required; refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and cannot exceed two weeks
- Former OHSU employees or travelers must have been gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months are required;
Charge RN references are not accepted
