Morning Star Senior Management LLC is seeking a Med Tech to support our senior living community with excellence and compassion. In this role, you'll perform routine lab tests, collect and process specimens, monitor vital signs, and support medication management within your scope. You'll ensure accurate documentation, follow strict infection control and safety standards, and communicate results to nurses and physicians. Working in a faith-inspired, team-oriented environment, you'll help honor residents with dignity while gaining hands-on experience and ongoing training for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Administer and document routine lab tests and diagnostic procedures per physician and community protocols
- Collect, label, and process blood, urine, and other specimens ensuring accuracy and safety
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, reporting issues promptly
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff or physicians
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and senior living safety standards at all times
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic and paper records of tests and resident care
- Communicate test results and observations clearly to nurses, physicians, and care teams
- Support medication management and treatments within certification and scope of practice
- Educate residents and families on procedures, preparation, and follow-up as directed
- Collaborate with caregiving and nursing staff to support holistic, faith-inspired resident care
