Overview

The Springs Living is hiring a full-time Cook to create delicious, high-quality meals for residents in our senior living community. Join a team where your work supports resident wellness and brings joy at every meal.

Available Schedules: full time

• Prepare meals from scratch following established recipes and menus
• Assist with prep work and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
• Support the team with dishwashing, storage, and rotation as needed
• Partner with the Dining Room team to ensure excellent service
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards consistently

• Previous culinary experience, 1-2 years
• Holds current food handler’s permit (will)
• Ability to follow recipes, meal plans, and production sheets
• Strong communication and a cooperative, team-focused attitude
• Reliability, punctuality, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment

• Maintain the ability to lift 50 pounds; to stand or walk throughout the vast majority of the workday; and to frequently push, pull, bend, twist, and reach
• Must have sufficient manual dexterity to work with the fingers and to reach/handle items
• Must also be able to walk throughout campus on a frequent basis for extended periods of time
• Involves light to heavy physical activity, performing non-strenuous and strenuous daily activities
