Rooster & Rice is currently hiring a dedicated and motivated individual to join our back‑of‑house team as a Kitchen Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. • Assist with food preparation tasks, including cutting, chopping, and marinating ingredients.
• Follow recipes and portion sizes accurately to ensure consistent quality.
• Cook rice and other food items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager.

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid food handler's card.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a culinary environment.
