Retail Sales Floor - Cascade Plaza Rack

Job Description:

• Maintain the sales floor in a “runway ready” state through re‑merchandising and straightening.
• Assist customers at the cashier, operating the point‑of‑sale system and handling a wide range of transactions.
• Support fitting room operations: greet customers, assist with fitting rooms, and return clothing to the floor.
• Keep the sales floor clean and clutter‑free by sorting and returning merchandise.
• Ensure stockrooms are organized, and merchandise is properly checked in and ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program.

• Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, following quality, packing, and shipping standards.
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support for store events, backroom organization, markdowns, and fixture relocation.

• Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on business needs.

• Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching.
• Regular handling of merchandise: grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Lift items up to 10pounds (occasionally 25pounds); stock and fulfillment may require lifting up to 50pounds.

$19.15 – $19.95 per hour (varies by location, experience, and job‑related knowledge).
