Brand Merchandising Specialist (Contract)
Duration 7+ Month Contract

Beaverton, OR Onsite (Hybrid Schedule 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Brand Merchandising Specialist to support the merchandising team in driving consumer-focused assortment strategies and marketplace execution. This role will collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Merchandising teams to develop consumer-right assortments, optimize product placement, and support channel-level merchandising initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong merchandising expertise with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute consumer-right assortment strategies aligned with marketplace needs.
- Finalize category assortment plans, including pricing, distribution, and product flow decisions.
- Ensure assortment strategies deliver clear market segmentation and product differentiation.
- Support go-to-market initiatives and merchandising execution across assigned product categories.
- Partner with Product, Sales, and Merchandising teams to identify the right products for key retail accounts.
- Assist with product allocation and assortment optimization.
- Analyze consumer insights and marketplace trends to drive business decisions.
- Optimize planning and placement of products across appropriate retail channels.
- Present merchandising strategies and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Maintain merchandising tools, reports, and product data using Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (not mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of merchandising experience.

- Apparel or footwear merchandising experience.
- Assortment Visualization (AV) experience.
- Previous experience supporting channel merchandising.
- Prior experience with a leading global athletic or retail brand.
