Are you a hands‑on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, fixing, and maintaining commercial printing and imaging equipment? Do you thrive in the field, solving problems, and supporting customers with high service standards? Our client is seeking a Field Service Technician II to join our service team. You’ll be responsible for on‑site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of copiers, printers, and multi‑function imaging devices (MFPs) at client locations — often in a fast‑paced, 24/7 customer‑driven setting where responsiveness and reliability are key.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and break/fix repair of digital imaging equipment (copiers, printers, MFPs).
- Respond quickly and professionally to customer service calls in the field.
- Maintain accurate service logs and reports, including Field Service Reports and Expense Reports.
- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with proper documentation.
- Ensure all assigned equipment meets operational performance standards.
- Represent in a customer‑facing role with professionalism and excellent communication skills.
- Adhere to customer‑specific site protocols, which may include COVID‑19 or other safety measures.
- Deliver exceptional service and support in a 24/7 customer‑driven environment where uptime matters.
We’re looking for a dedicated individual with:
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- A basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
- The ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- The capability to work in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on‑call rotations.
- Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers’ premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
