= Compensation: $41–$50 per hour (piece-rate structure + leadership pay)
A well-established roofing contractor in the Beaverton area is seeking an experienced Shingle Foreman to lead residential roofing crews. This is a hands-on leadership role for a skilled roofer who takes pride in quality workmanship, accountability, and job-site safety.
The Foreman will oversee projects from tear-off through completion while working alongside the crew to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety at every stage.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and support a residential shingle crew
- Oversee projects from tear-off to final installation
- Ensure proper installation and maintain high-quality standards
- Monitor productivity and keep projects on schedule
- Maintain clean, organized job sites
- Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members
- 6+ years of residential shingle roofing experience (tear-off through installation)
- Ability to demonstrate full trade proficiency in a hands-on, in-person mock-up interview
- Proven leadership experience managing roofing crews
- Strong knowledge of shingle systems, materials, and best practices
- Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
- Commitment to job-site safety and compliance
- Ability to lift:
- 25 lbs continuously
- 50 lbs frequently
- Up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Frequent ladder climbing
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- CDL
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality
