Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Description
Selected candidate must be able to work 6 days/week, 10 hours/day.
Responsibilities- Install new tools at customer sites with guidance and supervision; consistently complete installations within cycle times.
- Focus on mature tool installations and KLASE upgrade on 1-3 models.
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems related to installation under guidance and supervision.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic system level problems based on technical knowledge; seek additional help when necessary.
- Prepare field service reports and daily passdowns on installation progress and non‑conformances; contribute to post‑activity Quality Feedback Report.
- Take ownership of administrative install tasks (passdown, install progress, non‑conformances).
- Obtain all necessary international travel documents and be ready to travel for extended periods; minimum 60% of travels domestically and internationally by commercial transportation to customer sites.
- Take LKS training on related tools; proactively seek out training opportunities with senior PIEs, tech supports, and CSEs; work with senior engineers to get necessary support.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience, or equivalent college degrees without experience.
- Preferred: ASET (Associate of Science in Electronics Technology), BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related area; BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology), HNC and HND in electrical/electronic engineering.

Base Pay Range: $29.19 - $49.62 Per Hour.
