Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Remote, US

Duration: 13-month contract

• Optimize the IT infrastructure and services to ensure cost-effective and sustained application availability.
• Develop complex tools and processes to support system continuity management.
• Design, test, and implement monitoring tools and processes, executing system continuity tests.
• Write procedures to respond to monitoring results, ensuring system issues are resolved efficiently.
• Collect long-term metrics for trend analysis and performance improvements.
• Install hardware and software, taking proactive steps to ensure success.
• Develop and maintain security settings and user access protocols based on technology platforms.
• Recommend improvements based on analysis of current techniques and identified inefficiencies.

• Using specialized SAP Basis skills to create and maintain SAP environments.
• Installing and managing SAP application components, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Working with Python and cloud technologies (AWS preferred) to develop and optimize supply chain solutions.
• Enhancing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Spark, Sage Maker, and Databricks (nice to have).
• Potentially contributing to front-end applications using React (nice to have).

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Strong expertise in Python and cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience in a leadership or management role (preferred).
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze and improve existing processes.
