Sr. AWS cloud Developer

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering

5 years’ experience in highly distributed systems with high transaction volume

Experience building and deploying solutions on public cloud infrastructure (AWS)

Experience using an object-oriented programming language (Java)

• Experience working on projects in highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary development teams
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and design patterns
• Experience designing APIs and creating Java RESTful microservices
• Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, test driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.
• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
• Knowledge of the Netflix Open Source Stack preferred
• Experience delivering software in a Scrum development process

• Experience building solutions with a microservices architecture
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Experience with architecting, building, deploying, and scaling Docker applications
• Infrastructure configuration management and automation experience (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

• Networking (DNS, BGP)
• Experience with continuous delivery and continuous deployment (Blue/Green, Canary)
