BUS DRIVER
Do you have good communications skills, enjoy working with children of all ages and possess a good driving record? Beaverton School District needs you!!
No experience is necessary. The Beaverton School District will train you to earn a Commercial Driver's License and all necessary endorsements to become a School Bus Driver for us. All training is paid.
Full-time positions are guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week. Most drivers average over 35 hours per week. These positions include full medical, dental, and vision benefits for employee and family; life insurance, long-term disability, paid holidays, paid sick leave, PERS retirement, and tuition assistance.
Looking for a part-time job? Once certified, you can choose to work AM (6:00 am – 9:30 am) or PM (1:30 pm – 4:30 pm) shifts.
Transportation DepartmentPurpose:
The Bus Driver safely operates a passenger school bus to safely transport students and staff on scheduled routes to and from school and District-sponsored events. The incumbent ensures the bus is operating safely and ensures student safety during transport and while loading and unloading.
Definitions- "School bus" or "bus" includes any school bus or transportation vehicle within the transportation fleet.
- "Procedures" includes any District policy, administrative regulation, or formal written procedure governed by the Transportation Department.

10‑month work calendar, 182 calendar work days. 2026-27 hourly rate: $28.02 – $35.50 per hour, 5 days per week based on number of calendar work days.
