Box Truck Delivery Driver & Installer; Home & Office Furniture at CORT Beaverton

Overview

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring full‑time non‑CDL drivers in Beaverton, Oregon. The Delivery Driver works as part of the Operations team, loading furniture and delivering it safely to customers’ homes or office spaces, assembling furniture for the customer, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Hourly: $20. Standard schedule Monday‑Friday 7:30am‑4:30pm. Some flexibility or overtime may be required. Eligible for CORT’s Performance Sharing Plan bonus.

• Start day at our warehouse; review route, safety topics, and more with the operations team.
• Drive a 26‑foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture while interacting with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including loading and unloading furniture.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21years of age or older.
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
• A minimum of 3months professional experience driving a 24‑foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle; 1year preferred.
• Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+pounds with a partner.
• Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• English reading and speaking sufficient for general public communication and record‑keeping.
• Maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, including passing a physical and drug screening.
• Successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards.
