We are looking for a Resident Project Representative (RPR) for Land Development projects in various locations throughout West Virginia. As an RPR, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful implantation of Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) Reclamation projects. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of construction, documentation, quality assurance, and communication. This Role, You Will Be Asked To
  • Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications.
  • Keep detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes.
  • Maintain accurate redline or as‑built drawings to document project modifications.
  • Monitor work to prevent construction defects.
  • Ensure that the project meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including WVDEP, engineers, and contractors.
  • Travel as needed to project sites. Travel may also involve extended stays away from your home location during the week.
  • Perform this role on projects in other markets between AML projects.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • OSHA 10, CPR, and first aid certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Possess the ability to walk over rugged terrain and/or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Experience with AML projects and/or mine reclamation work is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of construction means and methods relating to mass earth work and storm water.
  • A valid driver license.
