Customer Service Representative Service Dispatcher

Atlantic Staffing is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative / Service Dispatcher for a client in the Raleigh area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a busy plumbing, HVAC, and electrical service team. The position coordinates technicians, schedules service calls, and provides excellent customer service.

Employment Type:

Temp-to-Hire, Part-time (30 hours per week)

Schedule:

Part-time, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break
Pay: $18–$22/hour, based on experience

Location:

Raleigh, NC

• Answer incoming customer calls and respond to service requests professionally.

• Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate service technicians.

• Manage service calls from initial booking through completion.

• Coordinate maintenance agreements, preventive maintenance, and recurring service visits.

• Communicate appointment times, technician arrivals, and service updates to customers.

• Prioritize emergency and time-sensitive service requests.

• Maintain accurate work orders, customer records, and service notes.

• Follow up on open service calls, estimates, and customer concerns.

• Coordinate with technicians, service managers, and office staff.

• Help maximize technician productivity and minimize scheduling gaps.

• Previous customer service and/or service dispatch experience.

• Experience with maintenance scheduling or service agreements strongly preferred.

• Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or other home-service industry experience preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

• Ability to prioritize urgent requests and adapt to changing schedules.

• Comfortable using scheduling software, CRM systems, and computers.

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
