Adjunct Instructor, Business - WVU Tech (Beckley)

The School of Business at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions to teach in the Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters of 2026. Potential areas of need include Business Management, Economics, Marketing, and Adventure Recreation Management.

Job Details

• Positions are part-time and not benefits-eligible.
• Salary is established on a per-course basis.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person and/or online undergraduate courses in the School of Business.

Qualifications

• Minimum:
  Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate level.
• Alternative:
  Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of full-time professional work experience in the course content area.
• Commitment to teaching excellence, responsiveness to student needs, and strong communication skills.
