Adjunct Instructor, Accounting and Finance – WVU Tech (Beckley) – 29842

The School of Business at West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses located in Beckley, WV, is currently inviting applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions. Potential areas of need include Accounting and Finance.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part‑time and not benefits‑eligible. The successful candidate will be responsible for in‑person and/or online courses for the undergraduate programs in the School of Business.

The position in accounting requires a master’s degree in accounting or accounting information systems, or a PhD in Accounting—a JD may also be accepted for specific course needs. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree who also hold relevant professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CMA, CFE) with at least 5 years of full‑time professional work experience in the course content area will be considered.

The position in finance requires a master’s or doctoral degree in finance or a closely related discipline and evidence of ability to teach effectively. A combination of a bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of full‑time professional work experience in the course content area will be considered.
