Your expertise will directly impact elementary-aged students, helping foster both academic and personal growth. You’ll work full-time (approximately 35 hours per week) with two distinct caseloads: one group of Kindergarten through 5th grade, and another group of 3rd to 5th graders. Enjoy the structure of a well-organized schedule starting August 12, 2026, through June 4, 2027.

Qualifications:

• Valid West Virginia teaching license with an Autism (AD) endorsement (please verify status via the West Virginia licensure portal)
• Experience teaching or assisting students with autism in a K-5 or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of current special education best practices and IEP development
• Clear communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with students, colleagues, and families
• Flexibility, patience, and a passion for making a positive impact

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and classroom management for assigned caseloads
• Develop, revise, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic development for students
