Senior Process Technology Engineer

Overview

• Perform risk assessments for Cap Ex projects and targeted processes – 25%
• Develop standards and procedures to support the Corporate and Engineering Process Safety Road Map – 40%
• Provide Process Safety technical support to Cap Ex project teams – 10%
• Conduct Process Safety audits with EHS – 10%
• Provide training to Cap Ex teams – 10%
• Maintain an upgraded ARA software for hazard review – 5%

• Education:
  
  B.S. degree in a technical field, preferably Chemical Engineering
• Experience:
  
  10 years minimum Process Safety experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge:
  Chemical manufacturing processes & plant operations; fundamental engineering & chemistry principles; EHS standards; business & financial principles
• Licensure &
  
  Certifications:
  
  TUV Functional Safety Certification is a value add

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fundamental understanding of engineering and chemistry principles; technical resource for plants
• Data analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving and statistics, ability to reach conclusions
• Strong leadership skills; ability to build consensus and influence others; results oriented
