We are working with a large manufacturer of capital equipment for the food processing industry and are seeking a Robotics Engineering professional.
While initially remote, relocation to Georgia will be required in the future.
Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
The Robotics Engineer is responsible for the development, offline and online programming, testing, integration, and commissioning of 6-axis industrial robots (primarily FANUC) for use in automated manufacturing systems. Using tools such as FANUC ROBOGUIDE and other 3D simulation environments, this role delivers robust robotic cells that integrate with PLCs, safety systems, sensors, conveyors, vision systems, and other factory automation equipment from initial concept through production ramp-up.
There will be some considerable travel in the first 6 months (50%).
