Financial Reporting & Accounting Policy Consultant

Overview

We are looking for an experienced financial reporting & accounting policy professional for our publicly traded financial services client on a project basis. This role is fully remote and is expected to end in 3 months.

• Lead the preparation of the annual Form 10-K and quarterly Form 10-Q reports with the SEC
• Oversee the preparation of several non-SEC statutory and regulatory financial reports to be filed with U.S. federal agencies, states and government sponsored entities.
• Maintain and recommend updates to significant accounting policies
• Advise on the accounting and reporting for new transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Oversee the maintenance & documentation of internal controls that are Sarbanes‑Oxley compliant

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields.
• 10+ years of relevant financial reporting & accounting policy experience required.
• Working knowledge in Oracle Fusion and Workiva Wdesk is a plus.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license, or equivalent required.
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
