Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant -
DescriptionDescription The staff physical therapy assistant works under the direction of the physical therapist to help provide rehabilitative treatment, according to the physical therapist established plan of care, for patients that have been referred for physical therapy.
QualificationsGraduate from a college with at least an Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Must possess licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of WV and must be maintained in good standing.
Experience in the outpatient and acute care settings as a staff physical therapy assistant preferred. Current CPR certification is required.
