You'll collect and verify patient and insurance information, assist with authorizations and payments, and provide clear, compassionate service while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality. How you'll contribute- Creating a welcoming first impression by providing compassionate, professional, and respectful service to patients and families.
- Accurately collecting and entering patient information including demographic, insurance, billing, and financial information.
- Navigating insurance and authorization requirements by verifying benefits, obtaining necessary authorizations, and helping ensure a smooth registration process.
- Communicating with confidence and clarity by explaining forms, processes, financial responsibilities, and next steps to patients and families.
- Protecting patient privacy and confidentiality while handling sensitive health, insurance, and financial information with care.
- Thriving in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple priorities, learning new systems quickly, and adapting to changing patient and department needs.
- Making a meaningful impact on the patient experience by serving as a trusted first point of contact and helping patients feel informed, supported, and prepared for their care.

- High school diploma preferred or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
- Strong customer service skills with a warm, professional approach to working with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately collect, verify, and enter sensitive patient, insurance, and financial information.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly and professionally, both in person and by phone.
- Critical thinking and sound judgment with the ability to make decisions, resolve routine issues, and know when to seek additional assistance.
- Comfort discussing financial responsibilities with patients in a respectful, clear, and compassionate manner.
- Technology skills and adaptability with the ability to learn multiple software systems quickly, manage competing priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
