Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul is seeking its first dedicated Human Resources Manager to build and lead the organization’s HR function. This strategic leadership role will develop HR systems, policies, and processes that support employee engagement, organizational growth, and a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will work closely with the CEO, CFO/COO, senior leadership, and staff to strengthen organizational effectiveness and foster an inclusive, mission-driven environment.

Compensation: $60,000 annually
- Develop recruitment strategies and oversee hiring and onboarding.
- Partner with managers on interviews and candidate selection.
- Maintain equitable job descriptions and compensation structures.
- Assess staffing needs across programs.
- Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture.
- Develop and manage performance evaluation systems.
- Support managers with employee development and performance coaching.
- Coordinate employee training programs.
- Facilitate leadership development, coaching, and professional growth initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR regulations.
- Maintain HR policies, employee records, and documentation.
- Promote culturally responsive and equitable HR practices.
- Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend organizational improvements.
- Develop clear policies, reporting structures, and workplace processes.
- Strengthen organizational culture and employee engagement.
- Build systems that promote trust, accountability, collaboration, and belonging.
- Support leaders through organizational growth and change.
- Administer employee benefits.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and manage equitable compensation practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with HR software and systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural nonprofit environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Conversational Spanish.
- Experience building HR systems in a growing organization.
- Leadership coaching and development experience.
- Experience with trauma‑informed or restorative HR practices.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
