Position: Copy of Material Handler

Description

Responsibilities:

Receive finished product and destage, ensuring count is correct

Generate appropriate paperwork for pallet tags

Match pick ticket with order when staging production line in a timely and accurate manner

Move materials and pallets with forklift

Follow safety and quality standards

Fill out Quality paperwork for shift

Keep work area clean and orderly. Remove trash

Demonstrate successful work experience

Exhibit good hand-eye coordination

Maintain a forklift license

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age

High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Associate’s degree or higher a plus

Effective verbal and written English communication skills

Able to work overtime and weekdays as required

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:

Ability to work well under minimal supervision

Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to interact well with others

Must be able to operate a forklift

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment

Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up to 50 lbs, and pushing/pulling objects

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Able to work in extreme temperatures
