81. The Plant Technician (Packing Technician – Band BTA) position offers a starting pay of $23.05/hr (~$55,300/yr) with opportunities to grow to $42.08/hr (~$103,000/yr) through overtime and shift differential.
- Operate high‑speed converting and packing equipment.
- Control the process from a computer terminal.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain accurate records and data.
- Operate essential material handling equipment.
- Contribute to quality and production performance goals.
- Use basic hand and power tools.
- Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move on stairs, ladders, and platforms.
- Stand on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Twist, turn, and bend frequently.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes).
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (2‑2‑3 schedule).
- Ability to learn manufacturing processes and operate, maintain and clean automated equipment.
- Strong technical, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
