Thermoforming Operator

Summary

This position is responsible for operating Thermoforming equipment throughout the facility.

• Starting pay rate from $17.95 per hour—paid weekly—plus $1 shift differential.
• Eligible for annual and skill‑based wage increases.
• Eligible for monthly bonus based on plant productivity.

• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 2x2x3 schedule

• Use measurement instruments to check work.
• Adjust machine settings as needed and notify tooling personnel for complex adjustments.
• Remove parts from the press.
• Load and remove inserts in the mold (“change over”) and inspect parts.
• Perform packing duties when necessary.
• Pack plastic containers and lids into sleeves and boxes per specifications.
• Grind scrap material from sleeves when required.
• Accurately read and operate the machine’s computer console.
• Maintain overall manufacturing process continuity.
• Set up and install mold bases.
• Complete all required paperwork.
• Use and understand Insight and Gainseeker systems.
• Conduct hourly retain rack checks.
• Verify product quality and report issues to QC.
• Perform housekeeping as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in manufacturing, preferably in thermoforming.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support other departments to meet production goals.
