Registered Nurse - Charge Position Summary
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
Exposure:
Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is present for all employees.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Certifications:
Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
