The main Operating Room has seven fully equipped procedure rooms. Each room is staffed with one circulator and two surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient care. The OR handles a wide array of specialties: orthopedic, orthopedic trauma, sports medicine, general surgery, gynecology, vascular, podiatry, spine procedures, DaVinci robotic cases, trauma, and urology. Nurses maintain current certifications in PALS, BLS, and ACLS.

The OR accommodates both inpatient and outpatient cases in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

• Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Manages patient populations across all ages, from neonate to older adult.
• Accesses and protects patient information, including demographic, clinical, insurance, financial, and comprehensive medical records.
• Maintains safety protocols for occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens.
• Handles physical demands such as frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
• Exposes to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

• Current state RN license.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
