RN - PACU

PACU nursing involves the care of patients who are recovering from surgery, particularly when the application of anesthesia is involved. Once the patient sufficiently recovers from the effects of the anesthesia, he/she is typically transferred to the appropriate ward or discharged from the hospital. PACU nurses are typically responsible for providing patient care during the immediate postoperative recovery period. He/she typically have training in basic life support measures, airway management, acute surgical wound care, catheter procedures and the special requirements associated with anesthesia.

PACU nurses may also be trained in the use of cardiac life support equipment.

Cancellation Policy:
Provider or facility can cancel assignment with minimum 2 week notice with no penalty. $1,500 cancellation fee without 2 weeks notice, for both providers and facility. Term with cause - no penalty. Facility can cancel 2 shifts per 13 week contract with no penalty - guaranteed hours only apply at 3rd cancellation. Right to hire with no penalty after 13 week assignment completed.

Late Cancellation of Shift by Client Affiliate or Health Trust: 3.11.1 Cancelled during a shift or upon arriving to the Client Affiliate facility for Per Diem Staff – pay Subcontractor for the greater of the number of hours worked or 4 hours. 3.11.2 Cancelled before 12 p.m. Client Affiliate time business day prior to shift for Per Diem Staff - no charge.
