We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical team in Beckley, West Virginia. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while working collaboratively with physicians, surgical staff, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous surgical nursing experience, strong clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
One year of surgery experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within six months of hire.
Advanced Surgical Life Support (ASLS) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective nursing care to surgical patients.
Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
Assist the surgical team as needed throughout the perioperative process.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
