Childers Air Plumbing & Electric is seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. If you take pride in delivering top-quality work, enjoy solving problems, and like helping customers feel comfortable in their homes, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Run residential and light commercial service calls
• Diagnose heating and cooling system issues
• Repair and service:
  • Furnaces
  • Air conditioners
  • Heat pumps
  • Air handlers
  • Thermostats
  • Ductless mini-splits
• Perform routine maintenance and system safety checks
• Clearly explain issues, repairs, and recommendations to customers
• Provide repair and upgrade options when needed
• Complete service documentation (invoices, photos, notes) using company software
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle
• Follow all safety procedures and industry standards
• Deliver professional, on-time service while in uniform
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed
• Work closely with dispatch and team members to complete jobs efficiently
• Protect customers’ homes with proper care (shoe covers, drop cloths, cleanup)

What We’re Looking For

• HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, refrigerant, airflow, mechanical)
• EPA certification (preferred or required)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
• Ability to:
  • Lift equipment
  • Climb ladders
  • Work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
