We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with experience in manual testing of SaaS solutions in an Agile Development environment. You will work with the engineering team to plan and execute testing within our agile development sprints. A good candidate will be excited to take on new challenges, ready to dive deep into manual test execution to master our product, and equally prepared to contribute to our long-term test automation strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Engineering and Product team to coordinate, develop, and help execute the test plans.
  • Participate in product requirements and design reviews with product managers and other engineers to ensure strong UI‑UX and functional standards.
  • Develop effective Test plans and Test cases for the functional areas to be tested.
  • Execute test cases during the development sprints and document results.
  • Design, build, and maintain a scalable test automation strategy and suite targeting UI, UX, and APIs using modern tools like Playwright.
  • Own the regression testing of the product and build tools to automate and facilitate the regression testing process.
  • Leverage AI testing tools and AI solutions to optimize test generation, accelerate debugging, and solve complex QA challenges.
  • Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
  • Analyze and decompose complex software systems and collaborate with and influence others to improve the overall design.
Requirements
  • BTech in computer science, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience conducting regression, functional, UI‑UX, API, Database, and performance tests in an enterprise software development environment.
  • Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks, with hands‑on experience or deep conceptual familiarity using Playwright (or similar modern frameworks).
  • Experience in test automation and the ability to write and build testing code is required.
  • Experience with Test‑Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve QA challenges using AI solutions will be a distinct, added advantage.
  • Track record of superior performance.
  • Comfortable absorbing new technologies quickly.
  • Passion to build great software.
