Candidate will operate an off‑road haul truck to transport material within the quarry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate a haul truck to transport material.
- Perform daily pre‑trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Use controls with hands and feet to shift gears, steer, and lower the bed to empty a load.
- Climb, lift, and sit/drive as required.
- Grease equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties related to the nature of the job, assigned temporarily as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen, a “Fit to Work” physical, and a background check.
- Must partner with other quarry employees as instructed by the facility manager to ensure daily schedules are met.
- Must adhere to the attendance policy to maintain crew efficiency.
- Must possess the physical ability to operate equipment under extreme temperatures and for extended periods.
- Must exhibit initiative to perform or assist with other positions for job completion.
- Must maintain a courteous, professional manner with co‑workers, customers, and the general public.
- Must be flexible to work various times during the day, night, or weekends at various locations.
- Must follow MSHA/OSHA safety guidelines and company policy.
- Must follow the instructions of supervisors and the facility manager to adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
