Position Title

Bus Operator – Pinegrove/Orchard Road/Ballard to Peterstown/McKenzie Ellison/Route 219.

Pinegrove, Orchard Road, Ballard to Peterstown, McKenzie Ellison Addition, and Route 219.

Peterstown Elementary/Middle School

• Supervise all passengers.
• Make daily reports of any deviation from the assigned run to proper authorities.
• Comply with WV School Transportation Regulations and Monroe County School Transportation Policy.
• Report any accident, incident, breakdowns, disciplinary problems, or any other issues to proper authority as soon as possible (must complete disciplinary forms provided by board).
• Maintain positive work habits.
• Perform duties efficiently and productively.
• Maintain and upgrade skills.

• Hold a bus operator licensure that includes a valid First Aid Card, CPR Card, and qualifies for the B Part of the Commercial Driver's License.
• Pass either a Graduate or GED equivalent.
• Physically fit according to WV School Transportation Regulations.
• Have a satisfactory driving record with WV Dept. of Safety and meet all qualifications set forth in WV School Transportation Regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age with at least three years of driving experience.

Base Salary of $27,560, salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package approximately 35% of direct compensation.
