I'Anson Bros Ltd is one of the leading animal feed manufacturers in the UK, a family-owned company with a 125-year history and a forward-looking approach to business, serving a local, national, and international customer base. The headquarters is based in Masham, North Yorkshire, with an exciting new facility at Dalton, Thirsk.

With a focus on team spirit, we are looking for a self-motivated individual to be a part of the electrical and mechanical maintenance team, predominantly covering the night shift period to assist both sites as required.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include:

Assisting in the electrical and mechanical maintenance on both sites
Improving the company's high standards through preventative maintenance
Providing night shift cover as part of the maintenance team for a 24-hour operation

The successful candidate will:

Be self-sufficient, enthusiastic and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
Have previous experience in mechanical and electrical machine maintenance
Experienced in troubleshooting and fault finding
Good working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical control systems
Good working knowledge of product transfer systems including elevators, drag-chain and auger feed systems
Ideally have PLC programming and fault-finding experience
Be flexible to provide cover for 24-hour operation
