In this critical role, you will manage payment processing, confirm exchanges for Cross Currency trades, and ensure accurate settlements. Your responsibilities will include maintaining settlement instructions, investigating discrepancies, and liaising effectively with Front Office and clients to resolve issues swiftly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process payments for interest rate swaps and cross currency trades
• Confirm all exchanges for CAD vs USD transactions
• Prepare payments using IRIS/Murex and SWIFT
• Investigate settlement problems with counter parties
• Update settlement instructions in Murex as necessary
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience in Operations related to derivatives
• Proficient in Excel and VBA
• Post-secondary education or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income Derivatives
• Good communication skills with traders
