Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization
, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Leader (Supply Chain) to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operations Leader, you will be part of the Operations & Manufacturing Department
, supporting production teams, Group Leaders, and hourly employees across a high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to build collaborative relationships that drive operational excellence.
Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Leader (Supply Chain)
Location: Bedford, IN
Pay Range: $47.61 - $54.41 per hour
Work Type: Onsite | Contract
- Lead daily manufacturing and supply chain operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Group Leaders and hourly employees while fostering a high-performance team culture.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, and process optimization.
- Support production launches, pilot programs, and implementation of standardized operating procedures.
- Collaborate with operations, quality, and safety teams to resolve issues and ensure consistent operational performance.
- Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, operations, or supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Experience coaching, developing, and managing hourly employees and front-line leaders.
- Ability to manage production schedules, quality targets, safety metrics, and cost objectives simultaneously.
- Experience in an automotive or unionized manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $47.61 to $54.41 per hour
