The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.

  • Responsible for supervising and coordinating approximately 20–25 production employees
    , supported by two team leaders.
  • Oversees staffing, safety, production, quality, equipment performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Responsibilities include assigning work, monitoring production and downtime, resolving operational and employee issues, maintaining records, and coaching team members.
  • Requires strong communication, problem-solving, time-management, and basic computer skills, with knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.

The supervisor will typically oversee approximately:

  • 20–25 team members
  • 2 team leaders
    , who provide additional support related to equipment and machinery
  • Arrives 30 minutes before shift to review staffing, call-offs, equipment status, and shift handoff before assigning the team.
  • Throughout the shift, maintains a strong floor presence, monitors safety and production, addresses equipment and employee issues, and supports continuous improvement through GMS.
  • The environment is fast-paced and constantly changing
    , requiring flexibility and adaptability.

Education/

Experience:
