Registered Nurse - Adult Med Surg; SWO, PT

Overview

This position requires 1+ years of clinical RN experience. This is a referral eligible position.

Our Medical Surgical unit contains 25 semi-private beds and cares for a variety of conditions for all adult patients. Staff administer medications, monitor vital signs, change dressings, and educate patients about their procedures. They also coordinate patient care plans with other healthcare professionals and evaluate medical information.

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Exceptions:
  Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
