Registered Nurse - Adult Med Surg

Position Overview

Indiana University Health is seeking experienced clinical registered nurses to join our Medical Surgical unit. The unit provides 25 semi‑private beds and manages a range of adult conditions, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, dressing changes, patient education, care coordination, and medical information evaluation.

Full‑time Days: 5:00 am – 5:30 pm, rotating third weekend and holidays.

Part‑time and full‑time positions qualify for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience in acute care.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of Indiana or a valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Degree from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification; additional advanced life‑support certifications may be required based on unit specialty.
• For those who did not graduate from a nationally accredited program, consideration may be given with more than two years of acute‑care experience, subject to review by the Chief Nursing Officer.

Provide direct patient care by administering medications, monitoring vital signs, changing dressings, educating patients about procedures, coordinating interdisciplinary care plans, and evaluating medical information.
