Position: Clinical RN – Medical Surgical. Requires 1+ years of clinical RN experience. Referral eligible.
OverviewIndiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals.
ResponsibilitiesOur Medical Surgical unit contains 25 semi-private beds and cares for a variety of conditions for all adult patients. The RN will administer medications, monitor vital signs, change dressings, educate patients about their procedures, coordinate patient care plans with other healthcare professionals, and evaluate medical information.
Qualifications- Associate of Nursing (ASN) required;
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Active RN license in Indiana or active NLC RN license.
- Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Additional advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Exceptions for candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
