Executive Assistant
Applied Research Solutions (ARS) is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and program support to a senior Air Force Program Executive Office (PEO) leadership team. This cleared DoD role requires a highly organized professional who can manage executive calendars, coordinate taskers and staff actions, support classified meetings and senior-level engagements, and ensure critical documentation and projects remain on track.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting senior government or military leadership and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily executive support to the PEO/Deputy PEO, including calendar management, scheduling, prioritization of tasks, and coordination of staff actions.
- Track, manage, and coordinate executive taskers, documentation, and staff packages to ensure timely completion and leadership awareness.
- Support PEO staff and Organization Senior Functional (OSF) leadership with administrative and program coordination activities.
- Schedule and coordinate classified meetings, senior-level engagements, distinguished visitor events, and executive briefings.
- Prepare, review, and maintain reports, charts, correspondence, presentations, and other executive-level documentation.
- Support travel coordination and utilize government systems, including the Defense Travel System (DTS), for travel authorizations and arrangements.
- Apply knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, DAF
365, and other digital tools to complete standard and complex administrative assignments. - Develop and improve executive office processes, workflows, procedures, and administrative standards to increase efficiency.
- Coordinate project activities, monitor deadlines, and provide status updates to leadership.
- Provide administrative oversight and support to clerical and program support staff within the executive office.
- Coordinate documentation for review, approval, and executive signature.
- Perform additional administrative and program support duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience providing executive administrative support in a government, military, or DoD contractor environment.
- Active DoD security clearance required.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting senior leadership.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools, and web-based government systems.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and support classified activities in accordance with established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting Air Force Program Executive Offices (PEO), senior military leaders, or government executives.
- Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS), DAF
365, and DoD administrative processes. - Experience coordinating executive-level meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Familiarity with DoD workflows, staff packages, and government correspondence processes.
All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check. The annual salary range: $110k - $125k. Salary is dependent upon the role and associated responsibilities, candidate's experience, and qualifications to include education/training, and key skills.
