We are seeking a motivated Buyer to manage procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role supports operational efficiency and contributes to overall business performance.

Position Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management
  • Source and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with operational requirements.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors.
Inventory & Cost Control
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations and planning teams.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Track and report on procurement performance and spend metrics.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records are accurate and up to date.
  • Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Support audits and internal controls as required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with operations, finance, and engineering teams to align purchasing activities with business needs.
  • Provide insights on market trends and supplier performance.
  • Support new product introductions and project-based procurement requirements.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
  • Lean or Six Sigma certifications
