We are seeking a motivated Buyer to manage procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This role supports operational efficiency and contributes to overall business performance.
Position Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management- Source and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with operational requirements.
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery commitments.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations and planning teams.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement purchasing strategies.
- Track and report on procurement performance and spend metrics.
- Ensure purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records are accurate and up to date.
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Support audits and internal controls as required.
- Work closely with operations, finance, and engineering teams to align purchasing activities with business needs.
- Provide insights on market trends and supplier performance.
- Support new product introductions and project-based procurement requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- Lean or Six Sigma certifications
- Competitive salary range of $65,000 – $80,000.
