Help
Operate and maintain a 4,600 kw combustion turbine generator (CTG) with a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) including generation of electricity to supply the Base.
Starts, operates, adjusts, and stops multiple fuel power boilers fueled by fossil fuel and natural gas or a combination of these fuels, steam driven turbines, pumps, auxiliary pollution control and other equipment in high pressure steam central boiler plant.
Starts, operates, adjusts, and stops multiple fuel high tonnage chillers fueled by electricity, natural gas, and steam, or a combination of these fuels, cooling towers, turbines, pumps, auxiliary pollution control and other equipment to provide chilled water for cooling and process functions.
Performs various operational repairs and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, cogeneration equipment, auxiliary, pollution control equipment.
Collects water samples and tests feed water, boiler water, and condensate using standard chemical tests; determines appropriate treatment to control corrosion and chemical concentrations; removes impurities and entrapped gases; and stabilizes fluctuating water conditions.
Utilizes safety practices, rules, regulations, and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
