OverviewOur site in Bedford, MA is seeking a Membrane Product Development Engineer to join our team. This position is part of the Gas Separation Solutions Membrane R&D group. Our group is responsible for the development of novel gas filter media technology, and products that support Entegris' mission to enable high-performance solutions for the semiconductor industry.
What You'll Do- Support technology and product development projects to deliver filtration technologies for a wide range of gas filtration applications.
- Activities may include designing filtration media, analyzing the problem, evaluating novel technologies/concepts/equipment, conceptualizing a technical path forward and technology transfer to our manufacturing plants.
- Work collaboratively with both internal and external support functions to obtain project objectives.
- Leading gated projects, coordinating project timelines, deliverables, and communications in a professional, effective, structured, and concise format, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and successful project execution with gated project approach.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Metallurgy Engineering and 3+ years of directly related experience is required.
- MS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Metallurgy Engineering and 1+ years of directly related experience is preferred.
- Willingness to perform hands-on experiments (filtration performance evaluation, failure analysis, R&D DOE runs, etc.) in a lab environment.
- Knowledge or experience in metal injection molding, additive manufacturing (binder jetting, powder bed fusion, etc.) and powder metallurgy processing is required.
- Experience with 3D solid modeling software such as Solid Works, Creo, etc. is required.
- Hands on metal powder experience and strong fundamental understanding of science/engineering principles related to filtration is required.
- Quick learner, open and able to adapt to new tasks and processes.
- Skilled in ideation processes, abstract design concepts and computer modeling or layouts.
- Ability to lead projects, coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communications in a professional, effective, structured, and concise format, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and successful project execution.
- Must be able to thrive in a team-oriented environment with the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional team members.
- An unparalleled attention to detail and being able to utilize independent thinking to achieve project goals.
- Knowledge in semiconductor hardware and systems is desirable.
- Sense of urgency and unwavering resolve to meet project timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent overall computer and software skills/knowledge.
- Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

- Compensation: $90, per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
