Associate Scientist

In collaboration with Single Use and Integrated Systems R&D teams, this position will apply the following functional and technical skills and knowledge:

• Applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
• Provides solutions to technical problems of routine scope and complexity
• Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Timely completion of tasks helps to keep projects on track and within resource allocations
• Accountable for the quality of own work. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from more senior levels
• Capacity to make connections among previously unrelated notions, actively formulates new ideas to address existing issues
• Moderately skilled in data analysis and experimental design. Ability to apply basic scientific/engineering principles to problem solving

• B.S. in applied science or equivalent experience in a related technical area. 0 to 2 years of work experience. You have direct product development or biomanufacturing process development experience.
• You have experience participating in projects of low to moderate complexity to deliver results and meet project milestones with excellent problem solving, teamwork, facilitation skills, and analytical mindset.
• You bring demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and coworkers through written reports, oral presentations, and timely discussions.
• You can apply engineering and scientific principles along with critical thinking to resolve technical challenges of low to moderate scope and complexity.
