Sr. Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:
Lead in the preparation and review of Sales tax returns and related account reconciliation Assist with the preparation and review of indirect tax filings, including international VAT, GST, consumption tax, and other similar transaction-based taxes. Manage sales and use tax audits, including appeals and responses to taxing authorities as needed. Perform internal indirect tax reviews, including filing amended sales tax returns and protesting personal property tax valuations.

Maintain and update the indirect tax engine (Sovos) as needed and support internal business teams with tax-related inquiries. Develop, document, and maintain domestic indirect tax policies and procedures. Support the external CPA firm in the preparation of U.S. federal and state consolidated income tax returns, including all foreign reporting requirements (5471s, FBARs, etc.). Support the external CPA firm with income tax extensions and estimated tax payments, including providing required data, reviewing calculations, coordinating approvals, and ensuring timely filing and payment.

Complete tax account reconciliations Coordinate business tax returns, annual reports, and other recurring tax filings. Conduct tax research and document clear conclusions, recommendations, and tax positions. Partner cross-functionally with accounting, finance, operations, billing, credit, and other departments to improve processes, streamline workflows, and support business needs. The pay range for this position is $110,000 – $130,000 per year.
