Power Platform Developer​/Security Compliance Analyst

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Power Platform Developer/Security Compliance Analyst to design, deliver, and secure business applications and automation solutions that support mission-critical operations at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) to meet mission requirements.
• Create and manage automated workflows utilizing Power Automate to streamline operations and integrate disparate business systems.
• Develop, test, and maintain Power Shell scripts for task automation, system administration, and complex data manipulation.
• Conduct vulnerability scans on Windows-based servers and infrastructure using DoD-approved tools.
• Track, analyze, and report vulnerability scores.
• Remediate vulnerabilities across Windows Server environments, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET frameworks, and Internet Information Services (IIS).
• Assist in securing and patching applications and systems to meet applicable STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) compliance.
• Maintain and automate security documentation and POA&M workflows using SharePoint and Power Platform tools.

3+ years experience in application development/scripting. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must be a Security+ CE certified. Must have hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform to include Power Automate for workflow automation, Power Appsfor building custom apps, Power BIfor data visualizations, and SharePoint for managing security documentation and collaboration. Strong proficiency inPower

Shell scripting. Experience in custom development  (C#) frameworks. Familiar with Windows Server administration and

IIS configuration. Solid understanding ofDoD cybersecurity policies, including STIGs and DISA compliance tools. Able to interpret scan results, prioritize findings, and implement corrective actions. Knowledge of SQL scripting for basic data queries and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Must be detail-oriented with a proactive approach to security. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
