This key role provides support to the Program Executive Office for Nuclear Command, Control, Communications Global Aircrew Strategic Network Terminal (Global ASNT) Increment 2 Block 2 (I2B2) Program Management Office via the Nuclear Networks Division (NCN). The NC3 Directorate’s mission is to provide support to the Program Executive Office (PEO), the Deputy Director, Deputy AFPEO NC3 and staff for acquisition and administrative control of all NC divisions, branches, and programs.
This position’s primary role will be directly supporting the Government Program Manager, functional staff of the GASNTi2B2 PMO.

Responsibilities- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 Operation of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework, AFI 63‑101/20‑101, and knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition, sustainment, or modification programs.
- Support activities that assist the program manager in assessing programs within schedule and cost baselines, recommending viable solutions, and pursuing alternative courses of action.
- Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
- Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, deployment and sustainment of weapons systems and associated equipment, and formulate plans and recommend strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Support and develop acquisition and sustainment reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES), Monthly Activity Report (MAR)).
- Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Support and develop briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
- Understand the different funding types, budgets, and the Central Asset Management (CAM).
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred).
- Program Manager experience, with at least 5–7 years in a DoD environment (Air Force preferred).
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
The expected annual salary range: $170k – $195k. Salary is dependent upon the role, associated responsibilities, candidate’s experience and qualifications, including education, training, and key skills.
